Relationship Between EN 1359 and EU Directive 2014/32/EU on Measuring Instruments

This European Standard EN 1359 has been prepared under a standardization request M/541 from the European Commission to provide a means of voluntary conformity with the essential requirements of Directive 2014/32/EU on measuring instruments.

Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union in accordance with this Directive, compliance with the normative clauses of this standard given in Table ZA.1, within the scope of this standard, confers a presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential requirements of that Directive and the relevant European Free Trade Association regulations.
